Download software instructions

For instructions and description about this software plese visit the corresponding sections of this site (software, documentation, faq).
Step 1 (required). Download libusb library. This library is required almost for all platforms except maybe some older OS.
Step 2 (required). Download bfpsdk-<os-name>-<os-ver>-<mcpu>-<sdk-ver>.tar.gz binary package for your platform.
For example, bfpsdk-freebsd-4.10-i386-1.3.0.tar.gz will described as follows: BFPSDK v1.3.0 had built under
FreeBSD 4.10 on the Intel CPU-based hardware platform. Please note many platfroms have backward compatibilty
and maybe vice versa. Therefore, in most cases you can use binary package built on older version of OS for newest
versions of this OS. For example, packages for FreeBSD 4.7 also almost work for 4.8,4.9,4.10 versions. This is also true
for many Linux distributions.
Step 3 (optional). Download PAM_BFP module. This is the PAM module (FreeBSD/Linux) with the support of a biometric fingerprint authentication.
Step 4 (optional). Download kernel module sources. This is required in a very rare cases.
Look the documentation and FAQ pages for more detail.
